“We originally discovered Abner through a neigbour at our cottage on Christie Lake. Abner had done work for her and she was very complimentary of his workers and their work. On her recommendation, we met Abner to discuss a reno and rebuild of an existing two bedroom bunkie at our cottage, and we hired him to do the project.

The project was not without difficulties. Space was tight, constrained by a septic tank and septic field on one side, an existing outhouse and the lot line on the other, and Canadian Shield rock behind and underneath. But a rejigging of our original design ended up giving us a better and more flexible bunkie.

It was clear that Abner took great care in hiring a skilled crew. They did a tremendous job. They were polite and very respectful, took great care in completing the work, and it was telling that they were very proud of the quality of work that they produced.

We have nothing but praise for Abner, his openness and honesty with us throughout the project, his commmitment to excellence, his pride in workmanship, his strong work ethic, his desire to do the work at a high standard and in compliance with code, his attention to detail, and his desire that we would be happy with the end result.”
